I have a 5 year old desktop G5 (tower). It has trouble going to sleep or switching back on when it’s been off for a while. I tend to leave the computer on all the time (otherwise I open it and press the reset button etc). This morning it went dead and caused a minor electricity power cut. I’m interested in either getting this repaired but if it’s too expensive and not worth it I’d like to recycle it. I also have some data on the computer that I’d like to retrieve if possible.
